The Lifecare Difference at Kendal at Granville

Lifecare entrance plans are a recent innovation in care for older adults. Kendal at Granville is one of the few communities in Central Ohio to offer this option.

The basic principle of the lifecare concept is that once a person comes to live here, they are never asked to leave, even if they have outlived their resources. Because we are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit community, we can accept donations to a Resident’s Assistance Fund, which is utilized to subsidize any resident who becomes unable to pay their fees.

Lifecare Community

Under a Lifecare agreement, the entrance and monthly fees cover current services and amenities. They also cover all future living and healthcare accommodations in Assisted Living or Skilled Care for as long as needed.

With a Lifecare plan in place, you do not need long-term care insurance (although the plan can be modified if you already do) or face additional per diem fees as you move through levels of care. Healthcare coverage is incorporated into the financial structure of the community and is considered a potential deductible medical tax advantage.

A Lifecare plan provides you and your family the peace of mind that you will be taken care of for the rest of your life.
